A new series we are going to do is a 4 week photo and information post about our church history and Mr. Record. We hope you enjoy it.

George Record's legacy lives on throughout the First Congregational United Church of Christ.

Mr Record was an inventor, bussisnessman, and philanthropist in the Conneaut area. He was also a dedicated member of the UCC. In fact, signs of his contribution are scattered around our building. The first one of many is:

The Family Bible and his seat. The Record Family helped fund the building and maintenance of the church when they were alive. To honor them, their family Bible is on display in our library and a photo of Mr. Record himself. Another way the church remembers Mr. Record is by reserving the seat he sat in on the balcony with a Bible Buddy someone left for him years ago.
