This afternoon the Conneaut High School Youth Philanthropy Board presented checks to the nonprofits they chose to support.

Each year, the Youth Philanthropy Board awards $5,000 in grants to local non-profits. Funding for the Conneaut High School Youth Philanthropy Board is provided by The Conneaut Foundation. Youth Philanthropy is a program launched by The Ashtabula Foundation.

Yesterday, the Conneaut High School Youth Philanthropy Board presented grants to six local non-profits.

In addition to coordinating a full grant cycle, the students participate in multiple service projects throughout the year.
