It’s that time of the year again…. Well for our annual “Memorial” golf scramble and luncheon. The event will be on Saturday September 19th at Foxfire C.C.. We will have many door prizes and raffle prizes, and this year we will have a $20,000 hole-in-one contest. We are looking for teams and hole sponsors. We are also seeking donations for door prizes too! Attached is the flyer, but we are now offering bookings and hole sponsorship submissions online. Simply thank you to everyone who made this year’s homecoming a wonderful experience! The sponsors, the Men’s Club’s members, the concessionaires, the ride company, and everyone else involved. Most importantly thank you Commercial Point! It is our pleasure to continue the Homecoming tradition and we can’t wait for next year!

Good Morning Commercial Point!
The parade lineup is going strong. The parade will start at 11. The midway will open at 12:00. We’ve had numerous questions about the car show today. You can start dropping your cars off at 10 o’clock directly in front of Scioto elementary school. Registration begins at 3 PM. Prices will be awarded at 6 PM.
 The ride company is doing a power hour from noon to 1 o’clock. All day passes will sell for $15 during that hour, the passes are good all day long until rides close at 10 PM. Rides will open at 1 PM. We also have a full lineup see the schedule below.

This just in…..
Kissel Amusement Co.(the ride company)has just announced they will have a power hour tomorrow Saturday June 13th after the Homecoming parade. They will offer $15 ride passes from 12:00P.M.- 1:00P.M. The ride passes are good for the entire day. After 2:00 P.M. the price goes back to $25. Hopefully we see you at the parade and directly afterwards at the Homecoming. We will have a reptile show at noon and 1:00. Dr. Gizmo was just signed to do a magic and illusion show from 2:30-4:00 too! We hope to see everyone early on Saturday.

🎶 tell me who you want who you really really want 🎶 well the Spice Girls will not be at the Homecoming tonight, but the Spice Boys will! Tonight is a busy night at the Homecoming: The midway will open at 5:00P.M. and close at 10:00P.M. Rides will open at 6:00 and close at 10:00P.M. The beer garden opens at 5:00 P.M., we will sell 50/50 raffle tickets in the beer garden tonight as well. The proceeds of the 50/50 will go to the Scioto Kids Association, The Cub Scouts and our local 4-H club. Anything Blue takes the main stage at 6:00 followed by the Spice Boys at 8:30. The evening will wrap up with our fireworks celebration at 10:00. We hope to everyone tonight!

🎶 Baby it’s cold outside 🎶 Not even close!! It’s hot,it’s humid, but the show will go on! The 98th annual Commercial Point Homecoming continues today starting at 5:00. Max Mobley and friends will be onstage tonight in the beer garden and we will hold our Little Miss and Mister Homecoming contests. On top of that it’s Family Night. Discount ride passes for $16.
Schedule update for the festival also, The midway including rides will shut down at 10:00 P.M.

🎶 It's the final countdown,The final countdown 🎶 I know you were singing that song in your head! You could sing it out loud for everyone tonight in our beer garden! It’s Karaoke night at the 98th annual homecoming festival. Gates open today at 5:00P.M. Stop in the main building and see us for a delicious perch sandwich too! We hope to see you there!

Thank you again to all our sponsors for the upcoming homecoming festival, your support of our community means everything. Big shout out to the Teays Valley football team as well. The football team got some early conditioning yesterday by helping/doing all the set up for the homecoming! Thank you coaches and players. We are always looking for volunteers, if you or your organization is interested please let us know.

Someone just asked an excellent question. “Can anyone join the parade at homecoming?” The answer is absolutely! If you are interested in being in the parade on Saturday June 13th simply show up to the Teays Valley West middle school parking lot from 9AM-10AM. No registration needed, just join the line up and have a great time.

🎶 Where O where did the time go, where O where did it go 🎶
We are 1 week away from the 98th annual homecoming festival! The forecast looks like hot temperatures and a small chance for a pop up thunderstorm. Either way we will be here celebrating our community. We hope everyone takes the time to pay us a visit. The schedule is below, we can’t wait!!!
