Weekend Personal Training

We have personal training available on both Saturday and Sunday! Our trainer, Chris, currently has availability for anyone looking for professional guidance to start or continue their fitness journey.

Meet Chris

Hi, my name is Chris, and I’m a new personal trainer at the Grove City YMCA. I’m currently a second-year student at The Ohio State University studying Exercise Science Education and Physical Therapy. My goal is to eventually earn my doctorate in physical therapy and work in a hospital, helping people recover and get back on their feet after injuries.

I love all things fitness-related, so you’ll often see me lifting on the gym floor here at the Y, running around town, or playing pickleball at Windsor Park. Outside of fitness, I enjoy spending time with my friends and girlfriend or relaxing at home with my two dogs.

I chose to work at the Y to express my love of fitness and exercise to other people, and that is exactly what I have been able to do in just the short month I have been here. Personal training is by far the best job I have ever had, and it is a job that I am always looking forward to. Can’t wait to train!
