What is Family Commissioning at FBC Grove City?

Family Commissioning is a special time where parents and guardians publicly commit to raising their children to know and follow Jesus, while our church commits to support and encourage them along the way.

Unlike a traditional baby dedication, Family Commissioning is designed for families in every season. Whether you have a newborn, young children, or are newer to FBC Grove City and want to take this step with your family.

During the service, families will come to the front as pastors pray over them and the church affirms its commitment to encourage, support, and walk alongside parents as they disciple their children.

Caregiving can be so rewarding, but it can also be physically, emotionally, and spiritually exhausting. You don't have to carry that burden alone.

Join us for Caregivers Coffee, a special afternoon designed to encourage and support those who are caring for others. Enjoy a welcoming environment, meaningful conversation, refreshment, and prayer with people who understand the unique challenges of caregiving.
