It’s popcorn season again! Come get your popcorn from the scouts of Troop 35! We are at Kroger in Jefferson and the Kroger on College Station in Athens.

Y’all come out and support the scouts! in the City in Downtown commerce. We are set up by Spencer park.

Troop 35 will be set up at our normal spot for the Summer in the City festivities!! Bring the kids and grab some cotton candy, popcorn and cold waters!! We will be on the corner at Spenser park down from the kid zone!

Summer in the City is almost here, and we’re ready for a full day of hometown fun this Saturday.
We’re kicking things off with our Farmers Market in the park from 10 AM to 1 PM, where you can stroll through local produce, handmade goods, and friendly faces.
All afternoon, the park will be alive with:
• Our Kid Zone
• The Art‑Tiques Vintage Market
• The Hot Dog Eating Contest
• Music and activities leading up to the evening festivities
As the sun starts to set, we’ll gather for a special program by our local American Legion, followed by a special guest singing the National Anthem.
After that, we’ll roll straight into a live band and plenty of dancing as we head into the night.
We’ll finish the evening the way summer should be finished — with fireworks lighting up the sky over Commerce.
Bring your chairs, your family, and that small‑town summer spirit.
We can’t wait to spend the day with y’all.

On Monday 3 of the scouts from Troop 35 joined 100s of other scouts from across the state in visiting the State Capital. They got to see the places first hand where our legislators vote and make changes that impact their lives. So proud of these young men for taking the opportunity to expand their understanding of state government.
