We are at Bald Mountain Recreation Area for the Orion Shooting Sports Event. We will be here today and tomorrow for 10-4. We will be doing a seminar at noon and 2:30 both days.

Our fly-in fishing trip was such a great time! We are already looking forward to going back again soon.
Everyone kind of did their own thing during the day rather it be fishing, sightseeing or hiking. We gathered together for meals, unless a group was doing a shore lunch out on the water.
The weather was absolutely beautiful, the winds could have been a little calmer. Although some people still braved the waves and stayed close to the lodge.

This was a trip that was truly off the grid on the Kabinakagami Lake with Watson's Windy Point Lodge. It seemed as if time stood still every day. The only time we had any kind of cell service was at the main lodge for meals.

We saw bear and bear tracks, moose, ducks and ducklings, Loons, Eagles and Golden Eagles, caught Walleye, Perch and Pike (we even eat some fish we caught), saw hearts ❤️, dragonflies, butterflies, and enjoyed conversations amongst ourselves and the other guests at the lodge.

Sometimes we need to getaway, relax and unplug for the monotony of every day life.

We have had a great time at Watson's Windy Point Lodge. We will be posting more photos when we are back in the the good ole’ USA 🇺🇸

✨ I’ve been keeping another secret… and I’m so excited to finally share it!

This fall, I’ll be joining Oakland Community College as a part-time adjunct instructor for their Community Education Program!

Over the course of six weeks, I’ll be teaching a beginner-friendly class all about getting involved in the outdoors. Whether you’ve always wanted to learn about hunting, fishing, camping, outdoor safety, wildlife, or simply feel more confident exploring nature, this course is designed to help you take that first step.

One of my greatest passions has always been educating and encouraging others to discover the outdoors in a welcoming, non-intimidating environment. To now have the opportunity to bring that passion into the college classroom is truly an honor.

I’m incredibly grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to meet the students this fall. Here’s to new adventures, new experiences, and helping more people discover the outdoors!
