Today, the James Pittman Chapter, NSDAR celebrates its 110th Anniversary! Members gathered at the grave of Organizing Regent, Frances Brooks Pittman, to place a patriotic flower arrangement to thank her for her nearly 40 years of service as Chapter Regent. What she started on March 16, 1916 still lives on today - with a mission of promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.
