💕 Sometimes I wonder what impact we can actually make. There is so much need. How can were possibly fil it all?

Stories like this remind me, it isn’t about filling every need. It’s about lifting the one. One at a time.

💕 now that the school year and fall season are in full swing we have been able to assess some student clothing needs.

A private donor was able to supply some sports bras to one of our special needs middle school students.

And a generous donation of shirts and shorts for another student from FosteringHope !

We are still looking for a pair of women’s size 9 crocs for a special needs student. And fostering hope clothing closet is also in need of specific donations so their organization can continue to help support our students and others throughout our community!

💕 A clothing need at EJMS has been brought to my attention. New and gently used items will be accepted and greatly appreciated in anticipation of the first band concert in over 18 months!!!

💕 A million thanks to Newell Orthodontics for their generous donation! We now have locking drop boxes at both EJCHS and EJMS!

We would love to help serve as many children and families as possible before the end of the school year to gauge how many days to open up for summer services!

“I’m not sure when I realized that my family didn’t have a lot of money but it’s always been a part of my life. Looking back, I can see how hard my parents tried but there just wasn’t enough to go around. That left an impression as I grew into a teenager. Wondering if they could afford the shoes I needed or buy me the warmer coat. I remember looking through the cupboards and being worried if we’d have enough food. There were plenty of times where our needs were met by the generosity of others and it still makes my voice tremble and my eyes water when I think about it. This project will leave a lasting impression not only because the students will feel less worried about how their clothes look or smell but because they’ll be shown that someone cares for them. Someone is willing to meet a need that they cannot do alone. They’ll learn that kindness isn’t restricted to how much you have or who you are but rather kindness is all around them waiting to be enjoyed.”

I am overjoyed and overwhelmed with the outpouring of love, support, and donations towards this project! We are INCHES from being able to begin! Big announcements and shout outs coming in the next few days.

We’ve had a ton of donations from our Amazon wishlist so far! The Amazon gift registry isn’t telling me who donated each item so if you’d like to claim what you sent and pm your address I’d love to send you a little thank you!

I’m still working to get Home Depot to donate a locking drop box and Tractor Supply Company has agreed to get us the ID tags we need.

Amy and Lynn Howe have made a cash donation that will enable us to purchase the needed backs for students to transport their laundry to and from school discretely.

My heart is full! Thank you all for your generosity! I’m excited to get this program launched at our first two schools and hopefully expand to all schools within four school system as quickly as possible!
