Incredibly proud to have the J. Ryan Foundation Strides of Hope named as a beneficiary of the Drake White Benefit for the Brain concert. The concert and fundraiser will be at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville November 16th. I believe there are tickets still available so if you can make it I would love to see you there!

Here we go again. Busy weekend! Meet Diego from Maryland. Diego is a senior in high school. Diego is recovering from an AVN. He is a high school senior and I cannot wait to see the great things he is able to do with the new Bioness Medical L300. Below is a note from his Mom.

Sometimes, a few steps can mean everything. ❤️
We are beyond grateful to the J. Ryan Foundation for giving Diego the Bioness L300. Today, we saw something we haven’t seen in a very long time — Diego went down the stairs without holding on, and he did it faster. 🥹
To most people, that may seem like a small moment. To us, it was HUGE. It was independence. It was confidence. It was a glimpse of Diego getting a little piece of his freedom back.
Thank you for giving him more than a device. You gave him an opportunity to move forward — literally and emotionally. We will never forget what this gift means to Diego and to our family. ❤️

Update! We are on a roll! I wasn't kidding when I said we have been busy.

Update! I know it has been way too long since I have posted, sorry been way too busy. Meet Taylor, our latest beneficiary of the Bioness L300. These boots are made for walking 👢
Wearing the Bioness turned a quick store run into shoe shopping 🛍️before Bioness, I had to buy shoes typically at least 2 sizes bigger to get my brace and shoe on. I tended to be extra careful and nervous in crowded places and go to them seldomly. arriving early, leave before or after the crowds. With bioniss I was able to get shoes -well boots in my size.
then wore the bioness with the boots to a concert. I was able to maintain great balance and navigate the crowd SO good!

Update!! I know it has been a little while since we have had an update, sorry took a little break. Meet Tonya and Gloria our latest beneficiaries of the L300. The Foundation has purchased 27 devices! This has been beyond my expectations to say the least. With that being said we are in desperate need for donations. WE ARE OUT OF FUNDS!! Please if you are able to donate do not wait. Here we go again.... UPDATE. Meet Lennon our newest recipient of the Bioness L300. Below is a note from her Dad. The Foundation has purchased 24 life changing devices for those in need of HOPE! That is almost$140,000 worth of devices! Thank you to everyone who has donated! The need for these devices is great and every dollar raised goes towards the purchase of a life changing device, no expenses it is just me. Lennon has been kicking butt in her acute flaccid myelitis (AFM) journey over the past year. She’s a hard worker with everything she does, both in and out of physical therapy! We were introduced to the Bioness L300 and were amazed at the benefits that it offered for her. Unfortunately, we thought it was out of reach after being denied by insurance.

We were proven wrong thanks to the J. Ryan Foundation. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to own one of these devices, and we can’t wait to see how much it helps in her recovery. Thank you to the foundation, and all of the supporters!

Update! When I mentioned the Foundation has been busy I was not kidding. Meet Patrick our latest recipient of a Bioness L300. Patrick is already chasing his sister! Below is a note from his mom explaining Patrick's need for the L300. PLEASE consider a donation today! I have found out quickly there are many people out there that need hope desperately. The QR code attached is a quick and easy way to donate. 100% of all donations are used to purchase these life changing devices.

Brief history: Patrick is our 5y/o son who was diagnosed with a perinatal stroke around 8months old. As a result, he has left sided hemiplegia in is arm and leg. He has worked incredibly hard for years through many doctors' appointments and many therapies. With all of his hard work he is walking, talking, eating - but even more incredibly laughing, running, jumping, joking, playing, learning - he is our warrior.
Current interests: Aside from wrestling his two sisters, Patrick loves to scooter, go to the beach, dance in the kitchen, play knights and princesses, as well as play soccer, dance, gymnastics, and soon adaptive lacrosse! A challenge with some of these activities is that his AFO brace does not fit in the necessary footwear (cleats for soccer, shoes for dance, and no support with bare feet at the gymnastics gym). A Bioness would allow him to participate in these activities, wearing the right footwear AND having the appropriate input through the Bioness device. He is young and eager to try so many new things, but also getting frustrated at times that his brace can hold him back or cause blisters and breakdown. We are so hopeful we will be able to introduce a Bioness into his world, something he will be able to use for years to come!
