YAA's Next Event - June 25th @ Fairfield County Airport

Due to many policy changes at OSU airport and the pursuit of the airport trying to charge fees well beyond what we could afford as a non-profit to use the facilities, we have been forced to find alternate locations to hold our events.

After discussions with many local airports and trying to find a suitable location, we have decided to move our twice-a-year events to the Fairfield County Airport ( 3420 Old Columbus Road NW, Carroll, Ohio 43112.) which has welcomed us with open arms!

It takes over 30 volunteers to properly run our events and we'd love to have your help.

We are seeking to expand our volunteer base and we know our best source is from those who already have been helping us out for so long.

Both Pilots and Non-Pilots are needed to help!

Coffee and donuts are provided in the morning and lunch will be provided also to all our volunteers.
The event runs from 10am - 3pm (We are requesting volunteers to arrive by 8:30am to set up)

Here are some of the positions we need to fill:

Group Hosts
Discussion Leaders
FPG-9
Aerodynamics
Airport Operations
Power Plants
Pre-Flight
Instruments
Aviation In The Know
Careers
Helicopters

We are looking for people who are knowledgeable in the above areas and/or are just aviation enthusiasts who would enjoy being around airplanes and encourage and inspire our youth in aviation.

If you haven't helped us before and don't know where you'd fit in, don't worry, we will team you up with someone to show you the ropes. You won't be on your own!

Please share this email with anyone you think might be able to assist.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email lmack@youthaviationad
