ICONS & IMAGES

What do we choose to keep? What images become part of our personal archives and what stories do they carry?

Maroon Arts Group and Artfluential present ICONS & IMAGES, an exhibition featuring works from the personal collection of Ann B. Walker and Julialynne Walker

Through art, photography, and collected images, the exhibition offers a glimpse into a personal archive shaped by Black life, culture, memory, movement, and history. More than a collection of objects, ICONS & IMAGES invites us to consider the role images play in documenting who we are, what we value, and what we choose to preserve.

Opening August 27 | 6p - 7:30pThe Maroon Culture Lab867 Mt. Vernon Ave. | Columbus, OH 43203

Join us as we open the collection to the community and celebrate the stories held within it.
