Real CONNECTIONS. Real OPPORTUNITIES. Real IMPACT.

Yesterday’s Career Expo connected job seekers directly with hiring employers across industries including healthcare, finance, logistics, and construction — creating meaningful opportunities to network, interview, and take the next step toward employment.

Events like this strengthen more than careers; they strengthen our community and local economy by helping connect people to stable, sustainable opportunities.

Thank you to our valued sponsors, JPMorganChase and Capital One, for helping make this event possible and for your continued investment in economic empowerment across our region.

MAY IS !

Mental health is health. Taking care of your mind and body is part of taking care of yourself.

Some days it’s going for a walk. Some days it’s texting a friend back. Some days it’s just getting through the day. It all counts.

Take care of yourself, and check in on each other.

Let’s have more good days, together.

On this day 72 years ago, the US Supreme Court determined that racially segregated schools violated the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment and were, therefore, unconstitutional.

The landmark decision in Brown v. Board of Education of Topeka Kansas sparked a decade of civil rights reforms unlike anything our country had witnessed since the fires of Reconstruction smoldered to ashes a century before.

Sadly, many of the gains made in pursuit of access, opportunity and freedom for all people are under attack, as proven again by the Supreme Court's recent ruling on Voting Rights protections.

But America is not a country that retreats. We believe in freedom, liberty and justice for all. Temporary setbacks will become formidable setups for a better tomorrow. The spirit of Brown remains.
