What a great way to celebrate the 10th Annual OGA Scholarship Foundation Golf Outing! ⛳

This year, 108 golfers joined us for a day of friendly competition, networking, and fun, all while supporting the OGA Scholarship Foundation and our commitment to helping students pursue their educational goals.

One of the highlights of the day was welcoming two of our scholarship recipients, Jack and Kaden, who joined us to receive their scholarship checks in person. Seeing the direct impact of the Foundation's work was a meaningful reminder of why this event continues to be such an important tradition.

A heartfelt thank you to our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who has supported the outing over the past 10 years. Your generosity continues to make a difference for students across Ohio.

Take a look at some of our favorite moments from this year's outing! 📸

"It's been a pretty great ride for a guy who was just a meter reader from East Cleveland." – Jeff Angeletti

Those few words said everything.

At last week's Annual Meeting, we had the privilege of honoring Jeff Angeletti, Brian Witte and Dick Dickerson with the 2026 OGA Lifetime Achievement Award. While each career has taken a different path, all three have shared the same qualities, hard work, humility, leadership, and a deep commitment to Ohio's natural gas industry.

Their impact can't be measured only by the projects they've completed or the years they've served. It's found in the people they've mentored, the relationships they've built, and the example they've set for those who will follow.

Thank you, Jeff, Brian, and Dick, for everything you've done for the OGA and our industry. It was an honor to celebrate your remarkable careers and the legacy you've created.

Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Annual Meeting last week!

It was wonderful to connect as we reflected on the past year and looked ahead to what's next. During the meeting, Joe Pemberton officially passed the gavel to Chrisy Wright of IGS Energy, who will serve as the OGA's new Board Chair. We also welcomed our newly elected Executive Board member, Lindsay Walden Hollar and were honored to hear from keynote speaker Ohio Senator Brian Chavez, who shared his perspective on issues impacting Ohio's energy industry.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the evening such a success. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to another great year together!

COTA is shifting back to CNG buses after battery recalls and reliability challenges affected a significant portion of its electric fleet. The decision highlights the importance of choosing the right technology to deliver dependable, affordable transit while continuing to reduce emissions.

It's a reminder that natural gas continues to play an important role in helping communities reduce emissions while maintaining the reliable service riders depend on.

COTA is shifting back to compressed natural gas buses due to a battery recall and reliability issues with its no-emission electric buses.
