We’re excited to welcome Jimmy, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗵𝗶𝗼 𝗚𝗮𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗢𝗚𝗔), to the 𝗪𝗘𝗡 𝗢𝗵𝗶𝗼 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆, 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 & 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁.

Jimmy has led OGA since 2011, representing Ohio’s natural gas transmission and distribution companies. Before that, he spent more than eight years in the Ohio General Assembly, serving in both the House and Senate and ultimately as 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘆:
🏛 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 — first as an elected official developing legislation and now as an industry leader working with legislators and regulators
🔥 𝟭𝟱+ 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗚𝗔, through major changes in Ohio’s natural gas production, infrastructure and regulatory landscape
⚡ 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, with OGA members collectively serving approximately 3.6 million Ohio customers
🤝 𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿, with a career shaped by listening, relationship-building and finding common ground
🔧 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, advocating for practical policies governing natural gas systems and underground infrastructure

Jimmy’s career has taken him from serving industrial customers in southeastern Ohio to local government, the Statehouse and statewide energy leadership. Throughout it all, one principle has remained consistent: 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁, 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱.

As Ohio sees growing demand from manufacturing, data centers and major investment, his perspective on 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 is especially timely.

As of the evening of September 21, 2026 Henry Hub Natural Gas prices are sitting at $2.83/MMBtu which is actually a few cents LESS than this day 10 years ago! Is there any other commodity that is cheaper today than it was back then?

We’re excited to recognize our final four scholarship recipients for 2026! 🎓

This year’s recipients include one returning scholarship recipient, Trent, who is studying Petroleum & Chemical Engineering, along with three new recipients — Ben, Elijah and Michael — who are all studying Petroleum Engineering.

Since many of our scholarship recipients spent their summers working internships across the country, Jimmy had the opportunity to meet with them on campus as the academic year starts and hear more about their studies, internships and plans for the future. It’s always great to see firsthand the students we’re proud to support and the work they’re already doing in the energy industry.

Congratulations, Trent, Ben, Elijah and Michael! We’re excited to see where your education and careers take you!

Welcome to the Bobcat family, Spencer! 🎓

It was an honor to award Spencer a scholarship as he begins his first week at Ohio University studying Civil Engineering. His goal is to focus on land surveying and help support safe, responsible natural gas infrastructure.

Having grown up around pipelines on his grandparents’ farm, Spencer understands the importance of careful planning, accurate surveying, and working with landowners. We’re excited to support him as he puts that passion to work and builds a career making a difference.

There's an old question: which is the less expensive option for your home- natural gas or electricity? The US Department of Energy answered that two years ago, pointing out that electricity was 3.5 times MORE expensive than natural gas!

Meet our newest OGA Trustee, Kyle Miller of Enbridge Gas! 👋

Kyle Miller brings more than 15 years of public policy experience to his role as Manager of Municipal and Stakeholder Engagement across the United States for Enbridge Gas. In this role, he oversees the public facing representatives in communities Enbridge Gas serves as the local distribution company. Kyle and his team work with local officials, municipalities, and community and business leaders to cover a wide range of utility issues. Additionally, he develops and maintains strategic relationships to promote the company and the natural gas and broader energy industry.

Trained as an attorney, Kyle previously held positions at Dominion Energy, the Sisters of Charity Health System and the U.S. Senate committee on Environment and Public Works. Kyle was twice elected to serve on his local city council and is civically engaged through various boards and committees—most recently serving as board chair for a local non-partisan think tank, the Center for Community Solutions.

Kyle is a proud graduate of Ohio State University and the University
of Tulsa College of Law, where he served as student editor-in-chief of the internationally published Energy Law Journal. He lives outside of Cleveland, Ohio with his wife, Melanie, and their two children.
