Another busy day for Outreach. We managed to dodge the raindrops. Thanks to Summer and Mindy from NCH🦋for the wonderful meal! Amy, Julie and I had our SUV’s packed full of summer clothes and other necessities. We fed 35 hungry and grateful friends today.  Special shout out to to Garett and Dylan for helping out. Heart and Harmony Kids provided bags full of hygiene products and snacks were gave out!

Men’s med/lg boxer briefs

Bug spray
Wipes
Backpacks

We served 12 ladies tonight who were very grateful for a burger and a bag full of hygiene items and socks, underwear and tshirts from Bombas.

We serve 40 people today. We had a taco bake from Jeanine and extra hot dogs, hamburgers and pasta salad donated from a baby shower. It was a rainy but busy day and many of our friends were very excited for dry shoes and socks.

We spent our Mother’s Day serving our friends on the streets. We served a great meal and gave out lots of shoes, clothing and supplies.

A belated post to say--

We were grateful to serve 15 women this past Saturday night. Each woman was happy to receive tacos and a purse with snacks and hygiene supplies. "This is awesome!" was a common response to our stops. Thank you all for your support in allowing us to show LOV to our community!

Giving LOV on the streets and helping to meet basic needs, because everyone deserves to be cared for.

“I was having some bad thoughts before you pulled up. I was thinking maybe I should step in front of a car, but I didn’t want to put a driver through that.” We spent time talking and caring for Michael. He was feeling hopeless, cold, tired, and hungry. Sometimes a hot meal and some caring faces can make more of a difference than we could ever imagine.

We fed around 45 today! So glad we had enough to go around. We didn’t make it to the south side. There were so many to care for on the west end.
We gave out lots of clothing and shoes. Our cars were packed as usual. Thanks to all of you for keeping us well stocked!
We are running low on the following items if you could possibly donate:
Hoodies!
Men’s and women’s jeans in smaller sizes
Men’s and women’s gym shorts
Small toiletries (shampoo and conditioners)
Toothpaste!!

“I’m going to have a good night now."

That was the reaction from one of the eight women we met tonight. Another shared how much it meant just knowing someone "has her back." She talked about how important it is to have someone to rely on. LOV is that for her.

There was a lot of love out there! ❤️
