We’re getting everything ready for our Strong Start Community Baby Shower THIS SATURDAY at New Birth Christian Ministries! 🍼✨

What you see on event day is only part of the story. Behind the scenes, there’s shopping, organizing, packing, loading, sorting, planning and a whole lot of love going into making sure our families feel welcomed, supported and celebrated. 💕

Our Community Baby Shower is about more than supplies — it’s about connecting families to education, resources, support and a community that wants to see them and their babies thrive.

✨ COMMUNITY IMPACT IN ACTION! ✨

Today’s Hygiene Free Store pickup was a HUGE success! 💙

We had the opportunity to support 76 families in our community with resources that help promote dignity, wellness, and self-sufficiency.

🧼 700+ hygiene & cleaning items
👕 300+ clothing items
🏠 50+ household goods

Every item represents a family having access to something they may need — without judgment, barriers, or shame. 💙

We believe access to basic necessities should never be a luxury. When we come together, we can create a community where families feel supported, valued, and empowered.

💜 September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month 💜

Sometimes the people who are hurting the most are the ones who have learned how to hide it.

Trauma can impact how we cope, communicate, connect, and ask for help. That’s why su***de prevention isn’t about saying the “perfect” thing — it’s about creating spaces where people feel safe, heard, believed, and supported.

This month, let’s remember:

💜 Listen without judgment.
💜 Lead with compassion, not assumptions.
💜 Check in — even when someone seems “okay.”
💜 Give people space to share at their own pace.
💜 Remind them that needing support is not a weakness.
💜 Connect people to help when they’re ready.

A simple “I’m here. You don’t have to go through this alone” can mean more than we realize.

You matter. Your story matters. Your life matters. Hope is possible. 💜
