💩 Asking for money really stinks! 🚽
But we need to drop a load: Our old septic system has officially pooped out, and we need our farm community’s help to keep things flowing!
This fall at our fundraiser , we’re raising $25,000 towards the $41,000 for a brand-new septic system and financial assistance, so more kids can experience the farm.

Here’s how you can help us flush this problem away:
🌾 Donate today
🎟️ Join us for our Harvest Fundraiser on October 3, 4:30–7 p.m.
🛍️ Bid in our Silent Auction online

And here’s the exciting part: If every farm family donated $45 or purchased one adult ticket to the Harvest Fundraiser, we could reach our goal!

Help us put this messy problem behind us and keep the farm flowing so the kids can keep growing! 💩❤️

Donate, purchase tickets, and bid on our auction: https://givebutter.com/c/harvestfundraiser2026

🌱 Every child deserves a place to explore, discover, and belong.
At Sunbury Urban Farm, kids don't just learn about nature—they get to experience it.
They dig in the garden. Search for bugs. Build fires. Explore the woods. Cook with fresh ingredients. Solve problems. Get muddy. Make friends. And discover what they're capable of.

Our programs are designed to help children build confidence, communication skills, empathy, problem-solving skills, and a lasting connection to the natural world. 🌻

But we believe cost should never be the thing that keeps a child from experiencing the farm.

That’s why Sunbury Urban Farm provides need-based financial assistance for our youth programs, with about half of our campers receiving financial assistance.
When you support our Harvest Fundraiser, you're helping make these experiences possible for more kids and families.

You aren't just supporting a farm. You're helping grow confident kids, curious minds, and connected communities.

💚 Let’s gather for some good.

🌱 We grow more than food at Sunbury Urban Farm.
We grow curiosity.
We grow confidence.
We grow kindness.
We grow connection.
We grow young people who understand where their food comes from and what it means to care for the world around them.
And we grow a community where children and families can learn, play, explore, and feel like they belong.

That’s the heart of Sunbury Urban Farm’s mission: creating agricultural, culinary, and environmental learning experiences rooted in exploration, sustainability, and belonging.

Our Harvest Fundraiser helps us keep growing that mission—from need-based scholarships and youth programs to our education garden, sustainable farming opportunities, and access to fresh seasonal produce.

When you give to the farm, you help grow a whole lot more than vegetables.

🌻 It may look like camp. But it's so much more.
At Sunbury Urban Farm, a day outside can become a lesson in confidence.
A garden activity can become a lesson in healthy food.
A forest adventure can become a lesson in problem-solving.
Caring for a living thing can become a lesson in empathy.
And a week at camp can become a memory—and a connection to nature—that lasts a lifetime.

Our year-round programs give children opportunities to learn through hands-on exploration, play, gardening, cooking, nature, and real responsibility.
Your support helps us keep those opportunities accessible to families throughout our community.

That’s what we’re gathering for.
Join us October 3 for our second annual Harvest Fundraiser and help us continue growing programs where kids can learn, explore, connect, and thrive.

We’re building something... but what exactly is it? Piece by piece, teens are constructing a whimsical dome—but they’re also building something bigger: teamwork, problem-solving, communication, patience, confidence, and the kind of practical skills that only come from working together with real tools, real lumber, and a real goal. Stay tuned to see this rain shelter take shape! 🌧️🛠️✨
