Some of these kids are playing at the academy level for the first time. Last Thursday, they stood on the same field as the Ohio State Buckeyes varsity team and watched the fireworks while serving as ball boys for the night.

They were ball boys for one night and now they have bigger dreams for the rest of their lives.

We are taking the game back. This is what F3 looks like.

F3 Academy at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium tonight.

Our kids were ball boys for Ohio State’s season opener against Virginia Tech.

Tunnel high-fives.
Scarlet stands.

A night you don’t forget when you’re that age.

This is the F3 way.

Ohio State 1 x 0 Virginia Tech
Isaiah Chisholm. He scored with a header in the 58th minute off a corner kick taken by freshman Jack Wayne.

From Soccer & Literacy to Summer Camp to F3 Academy.

This is Chamala.

He came from Congo with a skillful left foot that already had something to say.
He learned a lot in Soccer & Literacy.
He had fun at Summer Camp.
Now he’s shining in the F3 Academy.

Welcome home, Chamala. The pathway starts here.

Hello, my name is Jason Knemeyer! I am a senior at The Ohio State University majoring in Sport Industry with minors in Coaching Education and Business. I hold a U.S. Soccer Federation D License.

I began coaching with the Final Third Foundation in the winter of 2025. I love what F3 stands for by providing access to soccer for everyone. Seamus Reilly has been a tremendous mentor in helping me pursue my dream of becoming an elite soccer coach.

I aspire to become a professional or Division I collegiate soccer coach. My goal is to help my players develop into not only great soccer players, but also outstanding human beings.

We’re now three weeks into our Free F3 Summer League, bringing together boys’ and girls’ together from across Central Ohio in a fun, competitive environment throughout the summer.

This year’s league features three age divisions (U8, U10, and U12) with 18 teams including F3 Academy, Columbus Eagles, Sunrise Academy, Ocean Stars, Ohio Youth Academy (OYA), D1 Soccer, Hidden Talent, Galacticos, Glory, and more.

One of the most unique aspects of the league is its affordability. Teams pay no league entry fee - their only cost is the referee for each match.
