🫎❤️ MEET THE HERD — TONY MARRE ❤️🫎
Lodge Administrator | Worthington Moose Lodge #1427
We Love Tony 💜💜!
This week, we’re shining the spotlight on someone who has been part of our Lodge for more than two decades — our Administrator, Tony Marre!
Tony joined our Lodge in October 2005 — 21 years ago! When asked what he enjoys most about being part of the Lodge, his answer is simple: the people.
Over the years, Tony has been fortunate to work alongside some wonderful people in the office, including Shirley, Dawn, Stephanie, Nancy, Sandi and Sandy. And then, of course, there’s the bar and kitchen staff. 😂
In Tony’s words, the staff may sometimes be “a pain in my backside” but behind that teasing is a whole lot of love and appreciation. ❤️
“I do love each and every one of you young ladies. What you all do for me and for our members is immeasurable.”
Tony’s story has taken him all over the country. He was born and raised in Philadelphia, attended high school in Elyria, Ohio, which he considers his hometown, went to college in Denton, Texas, started his career in Utica, New York, lived in Omaha, Nebraska, where he met and married his wife, and eventually made his way to Columbus, where he started his business.
🥃 Favorite drink?
Give Tony a Bushmills to sip on and he’s a happy man.
🎶 His playlist?
He loves The Angels Listened In by Johnny Maestro & The Crests, You Belong to Me by The Duprees, and Remember When by Alan Jackson.
But if you really want to see Tony dance… put on “Are You Experienced” by Jimi Hendrix. 🎸😎
One of Tony’s favorite Lodge memories goes back to when he first became Administrator. Willie kept telling him over and over:
“We’ve got to become a Premier Lodge.”
Tony admits there were times he thought Willie might have been a little obsessed with it. 😂 But that persistence paid off.
🏆 Worthington Moose Lodge #1427 has now earned the Premier Lodge designation for 10 STRAIGHT YEARS!
That is an incredible accomplishment and something Tony is extremely proud of — but what means even more to him is seeing the impact our Lodge makes beyond our own walls.
“It makes me feel very humble to see the gratitude that the beneficiaries of our community service efforts express to the Lodge.”
And Tony has one simple message for our members:
❤️ “Thank you for choosing to become part of our Lodge.”
After 21 years, countless memo
ries, friendships, community projects and probably a few staff-induced headaches 😉, Tony continues to help lead our Lodge with pride.
Thank you, Tony, for everything you do for Worthington Moose Lodge #1427, our members, our staff and our community.
We’re lucky to have you as part of the Herd! 🫎❤️
