LAST CALL FOR RAFFLE TICKETS!

No time to mail your entry now (postal service is too slow!) -- you'll have to bring it to the Alumni House on or before Weds Oct 14, because the raffle will be held at our monthly club meeting that evening!

Some of the best games of the season are still available in our football raffle! The second drawing for the remaining three games (Oregon, Northwestern, and "That Team Up North") will be held at our regular monthly club meeting on October 14.

If you entered the first raffle (last month) and your name was not selected, your tickets will remain in the mix for the second drawing.

Raffle tickets are $5 each, or 6 for $25, or 12 for $50. All money raised goes directly to our Scholarship Fund to help a future Buckeye.

If your name is selected, you have the right to buy our seats for the next available game.

Enter by bringing cash, check or money order to us before 6 pm this coming Wednesday. INCLUDE YOUR NAME, PHONE, and EMAIL info! (Unfortunately we are not allowed to sell raffle tickets thru our website or Paypal.)

We had our first of two fall w**e tasting dinners last night at The W**e Bistro Lane Avenue, which featured a delicious four-course menu with a w**e pairing for each course.

Semi-Annual W**e Tasting Dinners

Our semi-annual W**e Tasting Dinners will be held at the W**e Bistro on Lane Avenue on October 7 & 21. These great fun evenings offer an opportunity to sample various w**es accompanied by a fantastic 4-course meal. Both nights begin at 6:00 pm.

The same menu will be served on both dates, so you can choose which date works best for you. Order your seats now on our website, BuckeyeAlumni.com.

Picnic with the Police - SAVE THE DATE!!

Come help us Serve Those Who Serve! On Friday, Sept. 18, our alumni club will show appreciation for the OSU Police and Public Safety Dept. by serving lunch for all the officers as well as their administrative staff. The police department is always grateful to have us return.

Join us for this fun opportunity to give back to those who serve and protect the students and staff of our great campus!

We’ll have two shifts: we need some people to help set-up and serve from 11:00 to 1:30 pm, and some people to serve and then help clean up from 1 to 3:30 pm.

Come help us say “Thank You!” to these hard-working individuals!
