IYG Columbus is back with the Teen Tent at Columbus Pride on September 12! We’re creating a space just for LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 12–19 to hang out, connect, celebrate, and have a ridiculously good Pride. 💜

From 12–5 PM at Mill Race Park, come find your people and stay for:

✨ Pride Bingo with IYG
🍕 FREE HotBox Pizza at 1 PM & 3 PM
🎨 Activities throughout the afternoon
🥤 Free drinks + snacks
🌈 A welcoming, affirming space to chill, meet new people, and be completely yourself

And yes, everything in the Teen Tent is FREE.

A huge thank-you to Foundation for Youth Prevention Initiatives for sponsoring this year’s Teen Tent and helping us make this space possible. Their support means IYG can do what we do best: show up for young people, create belonging, build community, and make sure LGBTQ+ youth know there is a place where they are celebrated exactly as they are.

Pride is more than a festival. For young people, finding community can be life-changing. 💜

Big news for IYG! 📣

After an intensive, months-long search, we are proud to announce that our current Chief of Staff, Joseph Myers (he/him), has been appointed as IYG’s next Chief Executive Officer.

Joseph will begin working closely with current CEO Chris Paulsen (they/she) in the months ahead and will officially assume the role on November 16, 2026.

Weather Update for IYG Columbus

Due to the risk of flash flooding in the area, IYG Columbus will not be hosting Young Adult drop-in center hours this evening.

If you need to access our food pantry, you may still stop by before 5:00 PM to get what you need.

Please stay safe and avoid unnecessary travel as severe weather moves through the area. 💙
