Columbus Bike Co-op A nonprofit community bike garage in Columbus, Indiana that helps make bicycling more affordable! We can also help you learn how to fix your own bike.

The Columbus Bicycle CO-OP is a nonprofit community bike garage with the mission to make bicycling an accessible and sustainable, means of transportation and recreation for all residents of Bartholomew County. We provide the space, the tools, and the knowledge to repair and refurbish bicycles. We take donations of bikes, refurbish used bikes and get them back on the road. Come and see us in the United Way building to check out our workshop and selection of refurbished bikes.

🚴 Do You Enjoy Bicycling? Join Our Race Day Team! 🚴

The Millrace Marathon is looking for 20 volunteer cyclists to help es**rt participants during the 5K, Half Marathon, and Full Marathon on Saturday, September 26.

As a cyclist volunteer, you'll be the eyes and ears on the course, riding alongside participants with a radio to report any issues and help keep our event running safely and smoothly.

🚲 Ride the bike you love:
✔️ Road Bike
✔️ Mountain Bike
✔️ Gravel Bike
✔️ Commuter Bike

This is a leisurely ride at 12 mph or less and a great opportunity to give back to the community while doing something you enjoy!

Please note: This is not a volunteer position you can sign up for on the Millrace Marathon website. You must email us to inquire about becoming a cyclist volunteer.

If you have a Kroger plus card you will log into your account and select your profile. Select Payment and Resources, then select Community Rewards. You will then search for the Columbus Bike Co-op and click Enroll! A portion of your purchases (alcohol excluded) will be donated back to the Co-op!
