Empty Bowls - Columbus, Indiana The Empty Bowls fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Central Middle School. And you can help!

This year will mark the annual events 28th year. Announcement: Empty Bowls Returns in 2023 In-Person! Hunger is real in our community – needs at local food pantries are up 25-30% just this year alone. Every month, over 5,000 Bartholomew County residents seek food from local food pantries. Empty Bowls is a fundraiser which raises money for six local agencies that help meet this need and also brings

much needed awareness to the problem of food insecurity. The community is invited to the 25th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser, which will be held on Saturday, February 25th at Central Middle School from 5:30-7:00pm. $15 tickets will be available on the Empty Bowls page and on the day of the event. Guests will enjoy unlimited soup, bread, and 2 cookies. Additional deserts will be available for purchase. Our ever-popular Artisan Bowls will also be available for purchase and include a guest’s choice from a variety of ceramic bowls crafted by local artists, teachers, and students. Music at this year’s event will be provided by Dan and Linda Mustard.

100% of the proceeds from Empty Bowls go directly to 6 local pantries and shelters: Love Chapel, Turning Point, the Salvation Army, the Community Center of Hope, Thrive Alliance, and Horizon House. Representatives from all 6 agencies will be present at the event with information to share. Over the next few months, the leadership team for Empty Bowls will be reaching out to soup makers, bread bakers, corporate sponsors, day-of-event volunteers, and bowl makers.
