🎨✂️🧶 There are lots of ways to support activism - including being crafty & creative!

Join PSP for a "craftivism" playdate, where we'll be working on two activities to support at-risk/vulnerable immigrant families in our community:
1. Card-Making: Create cards of love, hope and encouragement for vulnerable immigrant families. Our Helpers will include the cards in food boxes delivered to families' homes. PSP will provide all card-making supplies!
2. Crafts for Sale: Does your kiddo love to create jewelry, keychains, crochet, art, beaded bangles...all of the above?! Make some treasures for PSP to sell at our Northland Market booth in May. All proceeds from the market will be donated to Our Helpers and Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center. To create at the playdate, bring your own supplies or PSP will provide some (beads, bangles, keychains, etc.).

Dr. King reminded us that progress is won through persistence, courage, and collective action. As young people across our country witness attacks on truth, history, bodily autonomy, immigrant families, basic freedoms and more, we refuse to be silent.

Raising kids who know how to love and resist is how we honor his legacy. The struggle continues…and so do we. ✊🏾

📣 Playdates with a Purpose are BACK. We're ready to organize, educate and demonstrate. Our city's immigrant neighbors, our kids' friends, our community's families are under attack. Kids are aware and struggling to understand why. But they know they want to DO something to help.

🗣️ Calling all elementary AND middle school kids! (Yes, MIDDLE SCHOOL - new for PSP!) Join us for an education & action-oriented morning to understand the risks our immigrant neighbors are facing and what KIDS can do to support them - in age-appropriate ways for young elementary kids AND our middle school big kids.

💪 All kids will have the chance to do some "craft-ivism" by creating personalized backpack whistle kits to take home ... plus SNACKS, of course.
