Today, the Ohio Aviation Association joins our nation in remembering the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the memory of those who lost their lives, including passengers, flight crews, first responders, military personnel, and civilians. We also recognize the extraordinary courage and professionalism demonstrated by aviation and emergency response communities during one of the most challenging days in our nation's history.

As we reflect on this solemn anniversary, we are reminded of the strength, resilience, and unity that emerged in the aftermath. Their legacy continues to inspire our commitment to safety, service, and the enduring spirit of America.

Never Forget.

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend—it’s a time to pause, reflect, and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. We remember today and always.

We are sincerely grateful to our sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, legislators, and attendees who joined us for the Ohio Aviation Association Annual Conference held April 6–8, 2026. Your participation, expertise, and support made this year’s conference both meaningful and impactful.

Through your involvement, we advanced important conversations around aviation funding, workforce development, and a wide range of technical and operational aviation issues facing airports and the broader aviation community across Ohio. The quality of dialogue, collaboration, and idea-sharing throughout the conference reinforced the strength and momentum of Ohio’s aviation system.

We appreciate the support for the new Ohio Aviation Foundation Spring Golf Outing (Congratulations to winners!) and our first Ohio Aviation Association Job Fair.

We encourage everyone who attended to complete the post-conference survey. Your feedback is invaluable and will help guide future conference programming and OAA initiatives.

Thank you again for your continued commitment to aviation in Ohio. We look forward to building on this success and hope to see you again at the 2027 Ohio Aviation Conference next year.

A photo recap of the event is on the 2026 Annual Conference homepage. www.ohioaviation.org
