We are incredibly grateful for the delivery partners who helped place our Spring Break food bags directly into the hands of children who need them most.

A heartfelt thank you to Dublin Police Department, Groveport Police Department, Prairie Township Fire Department, and Madison Township Fire Department, along with our incredible volunteer school coordinators and community members.

Because of partners like you, we continue to streamline our efforts, creating space to grow and serve even more children and families.

So helpful. So needed. Community at its very best.

We’d like to thank the Buffalo Wild Wings Foundation for their support! Because of their kindness we will be able to provide children in our program with almost 10,000 nourishing snacks to help them stay focused and ready to learn.

For years, Spring Break has been an important focus for Feed The Kids Columbus as we work to support the students and schools we serve during a time when access to food can be more limited.

This Spring Break, our community showed up in a big way:
• Nearly 11,000 bags of food provided
• Over 310,000 food items distributed
• 11 packing events hosted
• 10 delivery days completed
• Countless volunteers who made it all possible

This work truly takes a village. From the donors, to the volunteers, to those cheering us on behind the scenes, we are so grateful.

In a recent thank you note from a child in our program, she wrote: “My days at home were so much better because of your help.”

That’s the magic of kindness. 💛

We were so grateful to have the family of The Olivia Claire Obrokta Foundation join us recently to volunteer in support of our Spring Break efforts at Feed The Kids Columbus. 💛

Their generosity has impacted our mission through past donations, and it was so nice to see them return for their second time volunteering with us. Moments like these mean so much, not just for the help on that day, but for the continued connection and support of our work.

While it was a wonderful day filled with many helping hands, it was especially meaningful to spend time together and see their commitment in action.

We are incredibly grateful to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for choosing Feed The Kids Columbus during their Central Ohio retreat this March!

Their team came together to make 3,000+ snack bags for us to distribute to the students we serve.

This is what it looks like when generosity meets action. 💙

Last week, Feed The Kids Columbus had the opportunity to visit St Brendan, Hilliard to share more about our mission and the impact of providing nourishing snacks to students in our community.

Inspired to make a difference, the students came together to collect snacks and assemble over 500 snack bags for the children we serve.

This is truly kids helping kids, compassion in action and a beautiful reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can make a big impact.

We are beyond grateful for the generosity, enthusiasm, and servant hearts of the St. Brendan community. 💚

✨ Throwback to an incredible MLK Day of Service ✨
We are still so grateful to The Ohio State University students who came together to pack 2,000+ snack bags for Feed The Kids Columbus as part of their MLK Day of Service project.
Because of their hands and hearts, thousands of children had nourishing snacks to take home.
Service in action. Community in motion. Dr. King’s legacy lived out. ❤️

The Dublin Jerome Boys Basketball Team teamed up with Feed The Kids Columbus to gather snacks and assemble snack bags for the students we serve.

Today we honor the leaders who have shaped our nation and the values that continue to guide us.

On this President’s Day, we reflect on the words of Theodore Roosevelt:
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”

President’s Day is a time to recognize service, leadership, and dedication to something greater than oneself. We are grateful for those who have led our country, and for the everyday leaders in our own community who step up to serve children facing food insecurity.

As we celebrate this national holiday, we’re reminded that leadership begins with action, and together, we can make a lasting impact right here at home.
