Saturday June 20th we will see you at ALL PEOPLES FRESH MARKET (944 S. Parsons Ave.) from 12-1:00ish or until we are out of food! We will be serving chickpea salad sandwiches, fruit salad and dessert!!

We are there every third Saturday of the month, RAIN or SHINE!

Kind Meals prepared dinner for Motherful. This nonprofit organization helps single mothers get all the support they need to raise their kids in a safe, healthy environment.
They were interested in trying vegan food, and Kind Meals was there to make that happen. Pasta & homemade plant-based meatballs, pan bread, veggie bouquet and my favorite, Triple Chocolate Cupcakes. We served about 35 free meals!!

Another fun demo at Carol Stewart Village () yesterday! Julie and Gary prepared and instructed how to make build-a-bowl components including Buffalo cauliflower, BBQ jackfruit, brown rice, pickled red onions, herbed chickpea sauce and tomato/corn salsa. One resident said just the Buffalo cauliflower itself was better than Chick Fil-A 😁🙏🏻🌱🥕

Memorial Day week update 🌿

We’ll be open Wednesday, May 20 from 12 to 5 PM, then taking a short break and will be closed the rest of the week.

Every Wednesday from 10am-2pm you can find the amazing team from Equitas Health at The Hope Resource Center Hilltop location. Some of the services they provide to our folks (who wouldnt otherwise have access to this care):

- Diabetes screening & management
- Blood Pressure screening & management
- Sexual health (STI/HIV testing)
- Cold/Flu
- UTI (Urinary Tract Infection)
- Biometric screenings
- Wound care
- COVID testing & vaccines
- Primary care and specialty referrals

This event is open for everyone 14+. In addition to an hour of yoga with Kelly Mehring, you will have a tour of Sunrise Sanctuary and a light vegan snack. 🍎🫐

1-3:30 pm on Sunday May 24. 🗓️

Saturday we had an amazing afternoon serving pasta, salad and dessert. We also gifted free toys and warm weather supplies as well! Kind Meals is truly blessed to have such amazing volunteers who show up, prepare and organize our food and events.
