Nearly 30 fathers were part of our Celebration on June 13th.

A delicious meal was provided by Eldorado Scioto Downs, prizes were won, and care bags were given to everyone in attendance!

Thank you to Beth Yeprem, Veronica Garrity/Our Lady of Peace, JP Morgan Chase, and Sandra Booth for donating items to make it a special day.

Thank you to Serve The City volunteers who helped us out in so many ways today!

The goal of Serve The City is to give students an opportunity to grow closer to God while developing a heart to serve those around them.

So far in 2026 (as of 6/1), YOUR SUPPORT has allowed us to assist 2,466 homeless and marginally housed men, women, and children.

-24,024 sack lunches
-38,640 'to-go' meals
-1,043 hygiene kits
-2,229 instances of clothing assistance

We also assisted 28 men & women with third-party money management and hundreds with Birth Certificate & State ID assistance because of your support.

The Open Shelter is proud to announce that in June & July, we are part of Kroger's Fight Hunger Bag Program!
