Djent The God is a South Carolinian guitarist, musician, comedian, content creator, and touring artist with a passion for punk and alternative rock. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, Djent The God combines musical talent, humor, and an unapologetic personality to create an authentic experience both on and off stage. Through music, comedy, guitar content, and live performances, Djent The God continues to build a unique brand and connect with audiences across the country.

✨Girls With Guitars Artist Spotlight✨

Kat Hammond

Kat Hammond embarks on a journey of self-discovery through sound with her new solo project. As the driving force behind the band “Charlie Boy,” Kat has already made waves in the music scene, where her talents shine in a different musical dimension.

This versatility showcases her ability to effortlessly switch between genres while maintaining a signature artist identity. Hammond’s music is unbound by genre, with a kaleidoscope of influences, ranging from R&B and Pop to the dreamy, nostalgic waves of hits past.

Her album “Late Bloomer” made #7 on the top 20 best albums of South Carolina in 2025 by the Free Times and Post and Courier.

🎶 What is AmplifiHer? 🎶

AmplifiHer began from conversations about something that felt missing: a supportive community where female musicians in Columbia could connect, encourage one another, share resources, and grow together.

Over the next few months, we talked with many women in our local music community. The response was overwhelmingly positive—and from those conversations, AmplifiHer was born.

AmplifiHer is about more than putting on events. We’re building genuine relationships, creating opportunities, celebrating women in music, and providing a welcoming space where female musicians can feel supported, heard, and connected.

We hold social gatherings twice a month—on the first and third Sundays from 4–6 p.m. We also create opportunities for women to share their music through songwriter showcases, live performances, and other special events throughout the year.

Whether you’re an experienced performer, just beginning your musical journey, or looking to connect with other women in the local music community, we would love to have you join us. 💃🏻🎸
