On July 3, the Ethel P. Jivers Foundation: The Clarence & Rebecca Feeding Program was truly blessed to host another Senior Feeding, where we had the privilege of serving 67 amazing seniors in our community.

Every meal served was more than food on a plate—it was an opportunity to share love, kindness, fellowship, and remind our seniors that they are valued, appreciated, and never forgotten. Their wisdom, strength, and the paths they have paved for future generations deserve to be honored every day.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who made this event possible. Your generosity and servant's heart allow us to continue fulfilling our mission of caring for our community and making a lasting impact, one act of kindness at a time.

To all the incredible mothers — today we celebrate your strength, love, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication. You are appreciated, cherished, honored, and deeply loved for all that you do each and every day. Happy Mother’s Day to every amazing mother!

On May 2, 2026, the Ethel P. Jivers Foundation, under the Shaniya Parker Education Program, hosted its 4th Annual Mother’s Day Brunch, honoring two outstanding high school seniors with scholarships. Congratulations to Jonathan Smith and Halayna Sumter on this well-deserved achievement!

Special thanks to our Master of Ceremonies, Mike Ferguson, and to Lee Butler the Entertainer for helping make the event memorable and enjoyable for everyone in attendance. Heartfelt appreciation also goes to our dedicated board members for their continued hard work and commitment.

The Ethel P. Jivers Foundation, through the Rebecca & Clarence Senior Feeding Program, was honored to serve our community this Easter season. With compassion and dedication, we provided 55 hot, bagged meals to seniors, ensuring they felt remembered, valued, and cared for during this special time.

This effort reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting and uplifting our senior community, not just on holidays, but throughout the year. We are grateful for the opportunity to give back and make a meaningful impact, one meal and one smile at a time.

The Easter Feeding was sponsored by The Pink & Green Community Service Foundation, Inc. Volunteers consisted of Fayette Stallworth, Evans Kohn, Chase Evans for food preparation and, Tyrone Brown, Rev. Scarborough, Julia Campbell, and Juanit Farmer for food delivery.
