Food Trucks Against Homelessness Our mission is to partner with businesses and individuals to provide meals, resources, and human connection to our houseless community.

Serving, Caring, Connecting. We have chosen to partner with Westside CARES in this endeavor. However, for 100% of the proceeds to go Food Trucks Against Homelessness you will need to donate to our PayPal account via the email [email protected], Venmo or CashApp $foodtrucksAH. Please try to donate from you checking account not a debit or credit c

ard so that we can receive the full donation. You may text Tracey at 719-888-9155 if you have any questions. Should you need a donation letter for tax purposes, we can provide one for you. Our campaign is not for profit, all donations will go to feeding the homeless and buying needed supplies for the homeless. Guidelines for food trucks providing meals -

1. Food trucks are expected to give a healthy balanced hot meal for 80-100 people.

2. Food truck operators are expected to be courteous to all clients and to respect the confidentiality of each client.

3. We reimburse for food cost and supplies. If you are needing a tax donation letter for your labor, please let us know. Receipts for food cost and supplies will need to be provided to Tracey Porter for reimbursement. If you choose to donate all of your food cost and supplies, you will receive a donation letter for your taxes. If you choose to donate a portion of your food cost and supplies we will reimburse you the monies and provide a donation letter.

4. Serving time is from 11am-1pm. Please be prepared to serve prior to the start time.

5. We understand that things come up and you may be in a position to cancel your scheduled day to feed Westside CARES clientele. It is important that you try to find another truck to fulfill your time slot and that we are notified of the situation. The clients will be expecting us as we let them know ahead of time.

The heat is here, and for our neighbors experiencing houselessness, there’s no stepping inside an air-conditioned house when the temperatures climb.

Water is important, but electrolytes are especially helpful when people are sweating and spending hours outside in the heat. We want to keep our neighbors hydrated and as safe as possible during these brutal summer days. ☀️
