The Purpose of Panther Football Social Media is to positively:
Promote the current players in Panther Football
Promote alumni players playing at the next level or professionally
Promote the coaching staff
of Panther Football
Promote the program by advertising events and sponsors associated with Panther Football Booster Club
Communicate with players and parents about up-to-date information regarding Panther Football
Promote the CHHS and GCISD Administration, Staff and Students by reposting accomplishments and announcements
Promote Colleyville and Grapevine community relationships
Posts are made by the Social Media Committee and all comments are monitored by the Social Media Committee
In the event that a post or comment violates the terms of use, the post or comment will be brought to the review committee consisting of the President of the Booster Club, Vice President of the Booster Club, Social Media volunteer posting on the Football Booster Club site, a coach on staff as designated by Coach Martin, and a CHHS staff member. If the post or comment is deemed inappropriate, a warning will be sent to the user stating the term that was violated and the post or comment will be removed either by the offender or blocked by the Social Media volunteer. If there is another violation, said individual shall be contacted and told they are blocked from the site stating the terms violated and referencing the previous violation. Posts or comments are reviewable if they:
endorse any political candidate, political party, or partisan viewpoint
solicit business; this is outside our sponsors that have an agreement with Panther Football
include profanity, vulgar or inappropriate language or content, and/or offensive language that targets ethnic, religious, or racial groups
include slanderous or disparaging language towards a player, coach, student, staff member, school administrator, or school district employee
include hate speech
Individuals can be blocked immediately without review by the committee the posts or comments include:
bullying
sexually harassing language
sexually explicit images
written or visual threats
The user will be sent a notice that they are being blocked and which term was violated before being blocked. The post will be referred to the proper school district and police authorities for disciplinary action.
