We are a nonprofit focused on providing specialized haircare and resources catered to persons with a physical or developmental disability. We provide haircuts to the autistic and special needs community in an adaptive and caring environment. Our Strategic Initiatives team had a chance to visit with grantee Care Cuts while in TX for APSE.

Care Cuts DFW is doing fantastic work, providing hair care to autistic individuals. Their clubhouse is designed to provide an inclusive experience for their "Friends" (clients). The team also travels to medical clinics, schools, and homes for those who may find a visit to the clubhouse too overwhelming. Their work gives dignity and care to their Friends, and provides so much more than a haircut.

Missi Kennedy, founder and parent of an autistic son, and her family have a passion for helping others and are so grateful to NEXT for believing in them and helping to expand their impact. NEXT for AUTISM is proud to be a founding funder of Care Cuts.

Seeing their support in action and having the opportunity to share about all of the work that we do at Care Cuts was truly meaningful!
