Leaving a Godly legacy for your children!

What an incredible weekend we had at EFA! We are so thankful for the opportunity to have Kym Carter and her sweet mother, Lynn with us!
Kym gave such an incredible message on leaving a godly legacy and to be a godly influence in your families lives. Four ways to create a godly legacy in your family.
1. Model godly character to your family
2. Be consistent with both discipline and love
3. Be intentional with your choices
4. Pray regularly for and with your children, and talk about your goals as a family.

Parents- did you know a "teenager filter" is trending on Tik Tok? It can make anyone look like they are a teen. Fun, sure- but also scary and realistic. Sites are literally instructing older men how to do it? Hmmm...
What a great opportunity for you to have a discussion with your kids about how easy it is for someone to pretend they are someone else online.

This is an important fact to teach your adolescents. Did you know that when kids are made aware of the manipulative tactics of marketing and media they are less impacted by it? Help them understand that adults or peers that truly care about them will tell the truth and not manipulate them by indulging harmful beliefs and behavior. This will help them also receive correction from you when they understand you love them enough to tell them a difficult truth. Eph. 4:15 🤍
