🌟Meet Sarah🌟

Sarah’s volleyball journey started in the fifth grade at 11 years old with PVYB. In sixth grade, she began playing club volleyball at Cal Sports where she fell in love with the sport. She continued and went on to play for ECP/Royal Legends at club and PV for school. Over the years, Sarah grew into a leader on the court, serving as team captain for both her high school and club teams.

She always embraces the competitive side of the game and enjoyed traveling to different parts of the country for tournaments. Some of her best memories come from making lifelong friends with her teammates and learning from all the great coaches who helped her along the way.

Off the court, Sarah is known for having a big heart and caring deeply about others. She loves spending time with her family and friends, and she is passionate about volunteering and working with the special needs community. Her adventurous spirit makes her excited to try new things and explore new places.

As she finishes up her senior volleyball season, Sarah is excited for what lies ahead as she continues her volleyball and academic journey at Ithaca College.

🌟Meet Taylor🌟

Taylor started playing volleyball in 5th and 6th grade with PVYB and instantly fell in love with the game. From PV Middle School East to St. Eleanor’s CYO, Club Integrity, and finally PV High School, volleyball has been such a special part of her life.

At 13, she began her five-year club journey with Club Integrity, starting as a middle, transitioning to outside hitter, and eventually finding her place in the back row as a DS/Libero. She played all-around for St. Eleanor’s CYO and was selected for the All-Star Team, then played JV at PV as an outside hitter in 9th & 10th grade before moving to varsity as a libero her junior and senior years.

And then there were the grass tournaments! Taylor and her friend Liv played East Coast Volleyball doubles tournaments, winning 1st place at their very first one! Watching them compete, laugh, push each other, and take on new challenges together was so much fun.

The past seven years brought countless car rides, plane trips, snow-covered drives, early mornings, late nights, incredible wins and tough losses. Add in school, lacrosse, multiple jobs, and a VERY busy social life, and somehow she managed to fit it all in! 😂

Through it all, she gained so much more than volleyball skills. She found lifelong friendships, confidence, independence, and the ability to keep pushing forward when things get hard. Those are the things I hope she carries with her wherever life takes her.

Now, as her club and high school volleyball journey comes to an end, I know this is just the beginning. She’s navigating college applications, hoping to head SOUTH next year ☀️, and planning to keep volleyball in her life through intramurals or pickup games.

Taylor, we are beyond proud of you—not just for the athlete you’ve become, but for the friend, teammate, daughter, and person you are.

Thank you for letting us be part of this incredible journey and for all the early mornings, late nights, crazy travel, laughs, and unforgettable moments along the way.

The volleyball chapter may be ending, but your story is just beginning. Keep chasing your dreams, keep being you, and never forget how much you are loved.

We can’t wait to see where life takes you next. 🤎🧡🏐❤️

🌟Meet Claire🌟

Claire started playing volleyball in 7th grade at MS West and instantly fell in love with the sport. She played for Cal Sports VB Club team for one year and then played with Club Integrity the following three seasons. She always competed at her favorite position—Middle.

Claire loves the team spirit, energy, and competitiveness of volleyball. One of her favorite parts of being on the high school team, besides special events like Rally in the Valley, Dig Pink, and Teacher Appreciation, has been the amazing friendships she has made along the way.

Outside of volleyball, Claire stays busy with Unified Track and LINK crew. She also works part-time at Wegmans and runs her own pet-sitting business. When she has some downtime, Claire enjoys baking, relaxing on the beach, and painting/designing her nails.

Through volleyball and her other activities, Claire has learned valuable lessons in time management, teamwork, and dedication. After high school, she plans to attend a four-year college and major in Biology.
