Exercise IS therapy. 👟🧘🏻‍♀️ At The Well, our long-term restorative safe house, survivors have access to a fitness and workout room because we believe caring for the whole person matters.

Movement can help reduce stress, build confidence, and create healthy routines.

Fitness isn’t a requirement for healing, but it’s another tool survivors can choose as they rebuild strength, confidence, and a sense of ownership over their lives! 💙

WE NEED FITNESS INSTRUCTORS ❗️ The Well is looking for volunteers to lead residents in a weekly or bi-weekly group exercise class for approximately 45 minutes. Class style is up to you and we are happy to discuss days and times that work for both your and the residents' schedules. ➡️ Email us at [email protected] if interested.

To serve survivors of human trafficking. 🌟

Our annual gala is more than an evening of celebration, it’s an opportunity to come together around one shared purposes: creating pathways to freedom and a future for survivors of human trafficking.

This work takes a community willing to show up, speak up, give generously, and believe in what’s possible when survivors have the support they need to rebuild their lives.

➡️ On November 13, we’ll gather for A Worthwhile Evening, Worthwhile’s annual gala and fundraising supporting individuals affected by and/or at risk of human trafficking in the Greater Philadelphia area and beyond.

The impact of this night reaches far beyond the room. Your support helps make survivor care, safe housing, education, and opportunities for an independent future possible.

Get your tickets at https://www.worthwhile.org/gala and be part of one night that makes a lasting difference. 💙

We love celebrating the big moments, but we especially love celebrating the moments that might look ordinary to someone else.

Recently at The Well, one participant earned her driver’s license, three began working, one received a job with increased pay, and another has been diving deeper into her faith and how it connects to her healing journey.

Each step tells a bigger story of growth, independence, and stability as a new path forward takes shape. 💙

There’s so much work put in behind these moments. We're grateful for your support of our mission as it allows us to continue walking alongside survivors on their journeys to freedom.

Survivor care can be complex. It requires patience, flexibility, humility, and a willingness to keep learning, but sometimes, the lessons are surprisingly simple. 💙

Fifteen years in survivor care has taught us that by showing up, listening, being consistent, celebrating, and giving survivors room to make their own choices, we can build a mutual relationship of trust, respect, and security.

Every person’s story is different and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing from the trauma of trafficking and exploitation, but by showing up consistently we can provide an environment where survivors feel comfortable and safe working through their healing journey.

We’re grateful for every opportunity to learn, grow, and walk alongside survivors as they find freedom and independence!

Swipe for this year's gala theme 👉🏼

Human trafficking is about taking freedom away- freedom of choice, freedom of movement, freedom of mind and body.

Our mission is to help survivors reclaim what was taken from them and walk toward a future defined not by what happened to them, but by what they choose for themselves. That's why this year, we’re shining the SPOTLIGHT ON FREEDOM. 🌟

We’ll celebrate the courage of survivors, the progress made through Worthwhile’s programs, and the community that makes this work possible.

Freedom was once something taken from survivors. With your support, it can become the foundation for a life filled with choices, possibilities, and hope.

These communication methods can feel completely ordinary when you’re not aware of the risks, but that’s what traffickers rely on— a victim’s lack of education and awareness of the tactics used to recruit and control victims.

Social media and online platforms are used by traffickers to build relationships, gain trust, and exploit vulnerabilities.

➡️ Polaris | Anti Trafficking Org reports that in 2021, the internet was the top recruitment location for traffickers, with numbers increasing every year.

Conversations about online safety are IMPORTANT because prevention starts with understanding what recruitment can actually look like.

Wow! 👏🏼🏃🏻‍♂️ Thank you to Clemens Food Group for conquering the Act Challenge and supporting the survivors we serve, year-round!

We did it! 🎉Together, we logged more than 16,000 miles during this year's ACT Challenge, helping unlock CFG's $15,000 donation to Worthwhile Non-Profit.

Every mile walked, ran, biked, hiked, swam and rowed helped support Worthwhile Wear's mission to reach and restore women impacted by human trafficking. That's something worth celebrating.

Congratulations to our top contributors: 🥇 Suren Pakhtigian 🥈 Michael Kane 🥉 Monica Coleman 🏅 Dan Feathers and🏅 Macie Hauck.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this year's challenge a success. Your commitment made a difference, and together we proved that every mile counts.
