For survivors of human trafficking, financial support can mean access to safe housing, counseling, basic necessities, and the resources needed to build a life on their own terms. 💙

🎨 A (very tall) Words of Worth mural is taking shape at MacFarland Intermediate School in Bordentown, NJ! Bordentown Regional School District

We're currently in the "mural workshop" phase of the Words of Worth experience. The total experience takes about 2 weeks, starting with wall prep, an assembly, mural painting, and ending with a ribbon cutting ceremony.

Words of Worth brings students together through art to encourage positive communication, strengthen connections, and remind them that they are worthy of healthy relationships.

Oysters, anyone?! 🦪🌊 We’re bringing a little coastal flair to A Worthwhile Evening!

We’re excited to welcome High Tide Oyster Co to our November 13 gala, where guests can enjoy a fresh oyster bar during cocktail hour.

This women-owned raw bar brings the coastal experience to life with freshly shucked, locally-sourced oysters and a passion for sharing the flavors and stories behind every shell. We went to the PTO Today expo for the conversations, the connections, and the chance to share how schools can help create safer, stronger communities through Words of Worth… and somehow ended up on an episode of Fear Factor. 🐍🚴🏼🏀

Our Worthwhile team had a great time at the PTO Today Expo in Oaks connecting with PTO and PTA leaders, educators, and others who are passionate about creating meaningful experiences for students.

We were there to share more about Words of Worth, our national mural workshop experience that uses large-scale art, education, and conversation to help young people understand their worth, recognize healthy choices and relationships, and build resilience.

We’re grateful for every school leader who stopped by, asked questions, shared ideas, and opened the door to bringing Words of Worth to their school community!

Thank you to PECO for helping beautify The Well safe house property! 💙

They spent the day clearing large branches, cleaning up fallen leaves and debris from the front porch, and making the entrance to our walking trail more inviting and easier to access. We’re grateful for their time and hard work!

➡️ We are looking for volunteer maintenance support at our safe house properties. Please email [email protected] if you have the time and skills to help us with these projects!

•Spackle small holes in upstairs bedroom (spackle material provided).
•Hang mini-split AC unit remote holders on the walls.
•Hang a mirror on the back of the downstairs bedroom door (mirror provided).
•Hang two floating shelves in the barn offices (shelves provided).
•Clean dryer vent (materials needed).
•Waterproof bilco doors and basements.

Survivors of human trafficking often have to learn or re-learn that these things are true about them.

“I’m safe.”
“I’m worthy.”
“I’m loved.”
“I’m strong.”

When someone has experienced exploitation, control, or abuse, these truths may not always feel easy to believe.

Healing can be a slow process of rediscovering safety, rebuilding trust, recognizing their own worth, and learning to see themselves in a new light.

Sometimes healing looks like believing these words for the first time. Sometimes it looks like believing them a little more today than yesterday.

🫶🏼 Over time, it can mean discovering that life can hold safety, purpose, connection, joy, and so much more than what they’ve experienced.
