Our beautiful railroad will soon look like this as the warmer weather makes its way in.

If you have the ability physically or financially to help us keep the railroad and landscape beautiful, we would love your help. Wednesdays and Saturdays, there are dedicated volunteers who could use an extra hand.

We also have several large projects that will have a large financial undertaking. These projects include:

- Drainage and erosion control.

- Tie and track replacement.

- Large paver patio project surrounding the clubhouse Pavilion.

- Dead or dangerous tree removal and trimming.

And many more!

If you are interested in helping physically or financially, please come on a Wednesday or Saturday morning to talk to our dedicated members and volunteers to find out more specifically how you can help.

Becoming a member is the simplest and easiest way to help us! Associate memberships have no requirements other than being 18 or older.

Attention PLS Members ONLY!

This Saturday (9/20/25), will be our monthly Membership Meeting and Board Meeting for September. Usual start time is at 9:30 AM for the Board Meeting, and 12:30 PM for the Membership Meeting.

Please remember mark this in your calendars!

We’d also like to kindly ask to participate in our workday hours from 9 AM to 12 PM if you can make it. There is lots to do around the property, just simply ask and see what you can do.

Another note we’d like to put out is this page is under minor renovations. Some of the information present is outdated and is due to be replaced soon.

Perkiomen Township, Montgomery County, PA and Pennsylvania Live Steamers invite you to a train ride on Saturday, September 13th.

The event will be held from 11am to 3pm at the Pennsylvania Live Steamers property located at 468 Gravel Pike. This is across the street from the fire company.

All residents of Perkiomen Township are invited to attend this Open House!
