Daily Bread’s Annual Basket Bash is being resurrected by non-profit Anthony’s Climbers! The proceeds from their upcoming May 6, 2023 event will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society AND the Pantry! Tix will go on sale April 1, 2023. Thanks to all who came or contributed to our 2020 Basket Raffle & Food Drive. 254 people attended over 3 days, and at least half were winners! (Several played for others who couldn’t attend) We hope everyone found a bit of fun and fellowship while donating to our worthwhile cause!

100% of net proceeds to the pantry? $17,174 and 1,157 lbs of food/personal care item donations! With deep gratitude for their contributions, the all-volunteer Basket Raffle & Food Drive Committee: Christie Aronow, Linda Buzzar, Christine Filippini, Nancy Gallagher, Roxanne Keller, Kim Knoll, Carrie Krentz, Amy Ramsey.

In addition, thanks and gratitude to all of our event sponsors. Our sincerest appreciation to Rick & Gayle Buckman of Spring Mountain Adventures, Heidelberg UCC Schwenksville and Trinity Christian UCC Skippack for the extended use of their facilities, the various spouses, Rotary members, high school students, pantry volunteers and community members that donated basket items and gift cards, helped create baskets, prep and run the Nov event, as well as deliver prizes to the winners!
