💛💛PEDIATRIC CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 💛💛
My gorgeous granddaughter is 6 years cancer free!! She loves dragons, puzzles, reading, girl scouts and more. She is thriving🌟 this month I will be collecting gently loved stuffed animals for the annual Red Corner Benefit. You can drop your donations in the Apple Shed. I'm also participating in the Bite for the Fight Food Festival and would love to see some of you there!! In addition, Jake's Dragon Foundation is doing their annual 5k so sign up for that. We are beyond grateful for all the help that was received while Railyn was battling and I can NEVER thank everyone enough. But there's more kids to support so please help if you're able. September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. But for us and the McKenna family it is every day. Each of our families has had to live with the pain that a cancer diagnosis brought. Through our grief we have both turned to supporting others through Jake's Dragon Foundation and the Conor mckenna foundation.
The annual Dragon Run for Courage 5K and walk is coming up in just a month. It’s a fun and easy way to support both foundations.

Imagine being a single mom, and a public school educator (who are EXTREMELY underpaid for the work they do), and then learn your son has cancer. How would you emotionally support your child WHILE financially supporting not only your normal everyday bills, but also all of the other crushing costs that come with cancer treatments/support (commuting, lodging, time off work, medical bills etc). JDF WILL be supporting this warrior mom, and we ask if you could please both share their story, as well as donate to help!
