PECO Announces Tentative Labor Agreement with IBEW Local 614:

PECO and IBEW Local 614 have reached a tentative agreement on a new labor contract, concluding negotiations between the parties.

Throughout this process, PECO has remained focused on doing what is right for our customers, employees, and the communities we serve. This tentative agreement reflects our commitment to recognizing the important contributions of our represented employees while ensuring we continue to provide the safe, reliable energy service our customers depend on every day.

We value our long-standing relationship with IBEW Local 614 and appreciate the efforts of both bargaining teams in reaching this agreement. The proposed contract recognizes the contributions of our employees while supporting our responsibility to deliver reliable, affordable service across southeastern Pennsylvania.

This agreement reinforces our shared commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and delivering exceptional service.

With a tentative agreement now in place, represented employees will return to their regular responsibilities while the agreement advances through the union ratification process. We look forward to continuing our partnership with IBEW Local 614 as we remain focused on serving our customers, powering our communities, and supporting the region’s continued growth and success.

Brothers and Sisters of Local Union 126,
As many of you know, we recently lost our Brother, Larry, in a tragic motorcycle accident. Larry was more than a fellow lineman—he was a dedicated union brother, a friend, a mentor to many, and someone who proudly represented our trade wherever he worked. His loss has left a tremendous void in our Brotherhood.
To honor Larry’s memory and support those he loved most, a tribute fundraiser shirt has been created. All proceeds from the sale of these shirts will go directly to Larry’s wife and children.
The shirts are 100% cotton and proudly made in Pennsylvania, making them a meaningful way to honor one of our own while helping his family during this difficult time.

Thank you for sharing these heartfelt memories of our Brother Larry. Your words remind us that the Brotherhood extends far beyond the job—it becomes family.

Larry was a dedicated journeyman lineman, a proud Brother of IBEW Local Union 126, and someone who never hesitated to answer the call, whether restoring power here at home or working countless storm assignments where ever needed. He earned the respect and friendship of so many through his hard work, loyalty, and dedication.

On behalf of Local Union 126, we extend our deepest condolences to Larry’s children, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed, but his memory and the impact he made on our Brotherhood will never be forgotten.

Once Larry’s loved ones have finalized the arrangements for the viewing and funeral services, Local Union 126 will share that information with our members so those who wish to pay their respects and support his family will have the opportunity to do so.
Rest in peace, Brother Larry. You have taken your final ride, but your legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew you.

We lost a good lineman last night in a motorcycle accident. He has worked many storms and is out of IBEW Local Union 126. He has worked many hours in Rhode Island, He will be greatly missed. He was my husband's best friend and worked together even prior to becoming linemen. He has sat at our table at Thanksgiving, Easter and other times. Forever missed. May your children, grand children and family find peace. The last ride was your greatest. RIP Larry
