Happy Lineman’s Appreciation Day to the best in the business—Local Union 126, IBEW!

Our members along with other proud IBEW Lineman don’t just go to work… they climb it. Whether it’s building and critical electrical infrastructure every day or answering the call when storms hit and the power goes out—while everyone else is heading home, linemen are heading straight into it. Long hours, tough conditions, and no shortcuts—just skill, grit, and a whole lot of pride.

What you do matters more than most people realize. You’re not just keeping the lights on—you’re restoring homes, hospitals, businesses, and entire communities when they need it most. That’s why we don’t just see ourselves as tradesmen—we’re first responders—and it’s time our political leadership recognizes that too.

It takes a special kind of person to do this job… a little toughness, a lot of heart, and just enough crazy to climb a pole in a storm and call it a normal day.

As we gather with our families this Thanksgiving, we want to take a moment to express how thankful for our IBEW and for the dedicated men and women of Local 126. Every day, our members show up with pride, professionalism, and a commitment to the Brotherhood that truly sets our union apart.

To all of our IBEW brothers and sisters—we are thankful for the hard work you put in year-round, often under challenging conditions, to keep our communities safe and our work strong. Your dedication is the foundation of our success.

And to our families—we are thankful for the support, patience, and sacrifices that make it possible for us to do this work. We could not fulfill our responsibilities without the strength and understanding you provide.
