It’s going to be an incredibly busy week for Texas Task Force members across the state.

Multiple teams and personnel are currently deployed to support severe weather response and flash-flooding operations in communities across Texas, while many others are participating in the 2026 SAREX exercise in San Antonio to continue sharpening the skills and coordination that are critical during real-world disasters.

Whether responding to emergencies in the field or training for the next mission, our Task Force members continue to demonstrate professionalism, dedication, and a commitment to serving Texans when they need it most.

Please keep all deployed responders, support personnel, and the communities impacted by this week’s storms in your thoughts.

We are proud of the hard work and sacrifice shown by these men and women every day.
