Community matters 💙

A special thank you to Mrs. Melva and the entire group of volunteers and community members who met with Rhonda at the Buffalo Public Library today.

Mrs. Melva said showing support for SARC is important, and we couldn’t agree more 🙌

HEY BUFFALO TEXAS!

Come see us on September 1st at the Public Library. Rhonda will be there sharing more about resources available for YOUR COMMUNITY 💙

See y’all there! 👋

P.S. Where else should we put on the calendar to visit?

Late night for our Outreach Team last night ⏰

Elizabeth and Rhonda spent their evening in northgate sharing SARC’s hotline posters with local bars and restaurants.

A huge THANK YOU to the businesses that say yes to giving our information a place on their walls. That simple “yes” can make a massive difference when someone needs help and isn’t sure where to turn.

We’d love to get more posters into the community. Know a business that might benefit from having SARC’s hotline information available? Tag them below! 👇

SARC is here to support EVERY survivor in the Brazos Valley.

If the assault happened yesterday or 30 years ago, you do not have to walk through it alone.

Healing doesn’t have a timeline. And it’s never too late to reach out for support. Our advocates and counselors are here to listen, answer your questions, and walk alongside you at your own pace.

When you’re ready, we’re here.

🚨 NEW BOSS ALERT! 🚨

Everyone say hello to our new Executive Director, Dr. Vanessa Smith! 💙

Dr. Smith is a fan of The Golden Girls, Justin Bieber, and her beloved corgis! But most importantly, she’s passionate about serving survivors and supporting our community.

While there’s a new face leading the team, the services you know and trust remain the same. SARC will continue providing 24/7 crisis support, advocacy, counseling, prevention education, and resources for survivors throughout the Brazos Valley.
