We are thrilled to announce the release of the 14th issue of our WETATi Academy magazine, honoring Prince Georges County Government e-Community County Executive Aisha N. Braveboy as the 2025–2026 SY WETATi Academy Lifetime Achievement Awardee for her outstanding contributions to our WETATi Academy YoungPreneur PGC Strategic Partnerships Prince Georges County Public School students and community.

This exclusive issue explores the theme of our National Entrepreneurship Convention: "Reshaping Classroom Education with An Entrepreneurship Mindset;" a vision at the very core of our mission to empower youth through practical entrepreneurship education.

We believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful vehicle for change and issue 14 expands on conversations about how education can evolve to prepare the next generation of thinkers, builders, and leaders.

Community shows up in every shape and size, and each form multiplies the impact a nonprofit can make. We are endlessly grateful to everyone who opened their hearts and their homes to WETATi Academy, joining us in celebration at our 2025–2026 SY Annual WETATi Academy-Anne Reese Carswell Scholarship & Awards Gala. Our mission, as a Center for Creative Thinking & Leadership, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is to educate, empower, and train WETATi Academy YoungPreneur students with Practical Entrepreneurship Education and to provide a safe space that fosters an entrepreneurial mindset for low-to-moderate income underserved youth and communities, ages 8–25, throughout the DMV and beyond. So when we WETATians come together as a community we are celebrating the communal impact of Practical Entrepreneurship Education.

Our Co-Hosts Lionel Donovan III, Emmy Award-Winning WUSA 9 TV reporter, and Inga S. Adams, WETATi Academy board member, will guide us through the evening, while DJ Dinero keeps the energy alive all night with Afrobeats.
