May the joy and spirit of our back-to-school Terrapin Praise Break continue to uplift and inspire you! We're grateful for the incredible time we shared with you at McKeldin Mall and the Y dining hall. A huge thank you to the talented musicians and dedicated volunteers who made it all possible. Mark your calendars and save the date for a special worship service on September 12, as the leaders of the Potomac Conference visit Living Water to celebrate our church's growth and impact in the community. Welcome the president, vice presidents and conference administrators as they bestow upon our church the status of a full-fledged church within our worldwide Adventist organization. Then plan to stay after worship for a celebratory fellowship lunch. We look forward to commemorating the special service with you!

The Terrapin Praise Break, our back-to-school special event is TOMORROW. We'll be on the lawn in front of the McKeldin Library on the beautiful campus of the University of Maryland, on Wednesday, Sept 2, from 6-8pm. There will be live music, games, food, and a raffle giveaway of a new Apple iPad! Sharing our campus ministry to the students as they return to school is a critical and impactful time, as they adjust to school (especially new students) and search for communities to connect with.

That's where we need your help! More than anything else, we invite you (young & old!) to just hang out with us and have some fun! Your mere presence there, a bustling group full of energy and laughter, will be the most vital tool to get students' attention. We're going to have just a few tables for refreshments and information to share, so we don't need strong hands or expertise to setup. If you have a lawn blanket or mat to lay down for kids listening to the music and speakers, that would be helpful too. More than anything else, we just need you hanging out with us! So we encourage you to please come out and bring your friends too!

From Mario Kart & Super Smash Bros, to Netflix Pictionary & Boggle, to classics like Uno and Snakes and Ladders, there was something for everyone, with pizza, drinks, and snacks to boot. Calling all young worshipers to join us next Friday, August 21 at 7pm with our youth & young adults as they collaborate with other young worship leaders from sister churches to praise, worship, and connect closer with their Savior. Youth of all ages (and those young in heart) are welcomed to be inspired and transformed as the next generation of leaders fill the place with God's presence in worship.

The rain couldn't stop our skillz! What a great time our Men's Ministry had on Sunday at the Paint Branch Golf Complex! From learning how to swing on the driving range, to chipping some wedges on the green, and rolling out putts to the cup, we're ready to hit the links next time! After working up an appetite, we fellowshipped afterwords at Mama Lucia's for lunch, with an inspirational devotional by our resident golfer, Nate Lopez! Thank you to all the guys who made it out, and for all you men who missed it, you won't want to miss our next outing, as we're moving from the links to the lake, with a fishing trip!
