Assalaamu 'Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu,

It is with sadness that we inform our community of the passing of Br. Ziyad Shalabi, cousin of Br. Nawaf, who passed away on Monday, October 26.
Dar-us-Salaam extends its heartfelt condolences to Br. Nawaf and the entire family. May Allah forgive Br. Ziyad, shower him with His mercy, illuminate and expand his grave, and grant him the highest ranks of Jannatul Firdaus. May Allah grant his family patience, strength, and comfort during this difficult time. Ameen.

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ، وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ، وَأَكْرِمْ نُزُلَهُ، وَوَسِّعْ مُدْخَلَهُ، وَاغْسِلْهُ بِالْمَاءِ وَالثَّلْجِ وَالْبَرَدِ، وَنَقِّهِ مِنَ الْخَطَايَا كَمَا نَقَّيْتَ الثَّوْبَ الْأَبْيَضَ مِنَ الدَّنَسِ، وَأَبْدِلْهُ دَارًا خَيْرًا مِنْ دَارِهِ، وَأَهْلًا خَيْرًا مِنْ أَهْلِهِ، وَزَوْجًا خَيْرًا مِنْ زَوْجِهِ، وَأَدْخِلْهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَأَعِذْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَمِنْ عَذَابِ النَّارِ
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him well-being, and pardon him. Honor his place of rest and make his entrance spacious. Wash him with water, snow, and ice, and cleanse him of sins as a white garment is cleansed of dirt. Replace his home with a better home, his family with a better family, and his spouse with a better spouse. Admit him into Paradise and protect him from the punishment of the grave and the punishment of the Hellfire.
