It's not too late! ends at midnight tonight! My goal is to raise $500 for the programs at the Catholic Student Center - Home of Catholic Terps - and the overall goal is $10,000! We are half way to that goal - and if you would give through my personal page then I can meet my goal too!!! Any gift is helpful - especially as every penny goes to the students for their events! Did you know that almost all of the activities offered are FREE OF CHARGE to the students? This is why we need your help to keep these events at no cost! This week the Catholic Student Center at the University of Maryland is participating in aiming to raise $10,000 on March 19 and March 20. The CSC, also known as Catholic Terps, serve the community at the University Maryland providing a home away from home, where friendships are formed, food is consumed, service to others is encouraged, and an opportunity to encounter Christ in each other and the sacraments is readily available to all. This week is spring break, and a large number of our Catholic Terps are on various mission and service trips, including our annual Mexico City work with Hope of the Poor. While our undergrads are living out the call to serve others, we are asking you to help us raise necessary funds to provide continued support for the programs at the CSC. I am personally trying to raise $500 for this effort. As a staff member, I can attest to how the experience I received at the CSC has allowed me to continue to live my faith and in turn serve others in my daily life. While I am no longer full time staff at the CSC (semi-retired last July) one thing remains - once a Catholic Terp, always a Catholic Terp.
