Meet Charlie! ❤️

Charlie is a 4 year old, 48 pound Beagle who is looking for his forever home.

Charlie came from a place where he wasn't treated very good. A nice young lady reached out to Project Hope Rescue to see if we could help him, and now he is safe in a foster home and getting the love and care he deserves.

His foster mom says Charlie is a really sweet boy. He is a bit of a counter surfer, but can you really blame him? He's a Beagle and his nose gets him into trouble sometimes! 😂 He does listen when told "off" though. He's actually very good when his people are eating. He will just lay down and sleep until they're finished.

Charlie gets along with dogs and cats and should be good with kids. He's not a big barker. He enjoys going for walks and riding in the car and every now and then he gets the zoomies. He really just likes being with his person. He loves belly rubs and laying beside you while you're watching TV.

Charlie doesn't like being crated, although he does settle down. He does fine without being crated and is doing good with his potty training.

A fenced yard is required for Charlie because, like most Beagles, he likes to follow his nose!

Charlie is neutered, microchipped, up to date on his vaccines and ready to find a family of his own.

His adoption fee is $300.

🐾 TRUFFLES IS LOOKING FOR HER PEOPLE! 🐾

Hi everyone, my name is Truffles! ❤️ I'm an 11-month-old, 51-pound lab/terrier mix, and I'm looking for my forever home.

I was found as a stray. I was really skinny and pretty scared when I was found, but once I realized people were there to help me, I started coming out of my shell. My foster mom says I'm a very sweet girl who LOVES to play, and when playtime is over, I love nothing more than curling up next to my person. 🥰

A little bit about me:

🐶 I really like other dogs and would LOVE a playful doggy friend
🏡 I need a fenced-in yard where I can run and play
👧 I should do well with children, but I'm still young and sometimes get a little too excited and jump up
🐱 Cats aren't really my thing — I play too rough with them, so a cat-free home would be best
🦮 I walk nicely on a leash and enjoy going for walks
🏠 I'm crate trained AND potty trained
❤️ I'm spayed, vaccinated and microchipped

I'm still a young girl, so I have plenty of playful puppy energy, but once I've gotten my zoomies out, I'm perfectly happy sitting beside my person and keeping them company.

We have a whole crew of wonderful dogs with Project Hope Rescue who are currently in foster homes down in Texas (plus a couple waiting in boarding) who are dreaming of making the trip up to Michigan.

Here’s the catch: they can’t catch that ride north until they have a place to land.

We desperately need Michigan fosters—or foster-to-adopt homes!—to open their doors so these pups can start their next chapter. Foster-to-adopt is a great, low-pressure way to make sure a dog is the right fit for your home before making it official, and standard fostering gives these dogs the safe landing spot they need while waiting for their forever families.

We are pleased to introduce everyone to Sterling. He is a handsome guy who is lucky that some wonderful people offered to foster him and make sure that he made it out of the shelter.

Bodark & her adorable ears are looking for a foster home or foster-to-adopt in Michigan.

🐾💗 MEET BODARK! 💗🐾

If those ears don’t steal your heart, her sweet personality definitely will! 🥹

Bodark is a 7-month-old, 24-pound medium-sized Shepherd mix who is the perfect size for just about any adventure—and the perfect size for cuddling, too! She is an incredibly sweet, observant, quiet little girl who is playful, curious, adaptable, and full of love.

Bodark is a total cuddle bug who loves her people, her toys, her treats, and especially playing with other dogs. Her favorite game is a good old-fashioned puppy wrestling match with her furry friends! 🐶💕 She is friendly with other dogs and good with children, making her a wonderful little family companion.

She is crate trained and already knows “sit.” She’s a smart girl who is eager to learn and is currently working on her potty training and walking nicely on a leash.

Bodark is also wonderfully calm around smaller animals. She doesn’t react to squirrels. Even though she hasn't met any cats she should be good with them too. making her a pretty easygoing girl who takes the world around her in stride. 🐱🐿️

One of the sweetest things about Bodark is how wonderfully gentle and easygoing she is. She doesn’t bark, has a phenomenal personality, and seems to take everything in with quiet curiosity. She’s the kind of pup who can happily play with her dog friends and then curl up beside you for some serious snuggle time.

And can we talk about those ADORABLE ears and beautiful markings?! 😍

Bodark is still just a puppy, so she’s learning and growing every day. What she needs now is a family who will be patient with her, continue helping her learn, and show her just how wonderful life can be.

She has so much love to give—and we know her forever family is going to be very lucky to have her. ❤️
