The Troy Link Memorial Truck Show is more than just a truck show—it’s a way to honor the legacy of a man who meant so much to so many.

In September 2024, we lost Troy Link after his courageous battle with cancer. Troy had a passion for the trucking industry and a heart that was even bigger. He was the kind of person who would drop everything to help someone in need and truly would give you the shirt off his back.

When we created the Troy Link Memorial Truck Show, we wanted to continue the values Troy lived by every day: helping others, supporting the trucking community, and creating opportunities for the next generation of drivers.

Because of the incredible support from our sponsors, vendors, participants, volunteers, and attendees at our 2025 event, we are proud to announce that, in partnership with FCG Truck Driving School in Grand Rapids, Michigan, we will be awarding one fully paid, full-ride scholarship to truck driving school.

This scholarship represents exactly why we do this. Every truck that enters the show, every sponsorship, every raffle ticket, and every donation helps create opportunities for someone pursuing a career in the industry Troy loved.

Founded in 2018, Chapman Trucking is owned by Greg Chapman. It started with a single truck and a commitment to providing dependable, professional transportation services. Through hard work and strong customer relationships we have grown our fleet to four trucks. We specialize in frameless dump trailer transportation and van trailer hauling. The Troy Link Memorial Scholarship Application is live!!

This scholarship is for a full ride to FCG Truck Driving School in Grand Rapids Michigan. Applicants must be at least 18 years old within one year of receiving the award to qualify for this Scholarship.

Applicant has 1 year to use this scholarship to complete Truck Driving School at FCG in Grand Rapids.
