The Foster Closet is comprised of volunteers who support Foster Children in Branch County and the surrounding area. The hours for making a donation or picking up items are by appointment to protect the privacy of our families.

What we Do!

Hours: By appointment, so that we can protect the privacy of the families we serve. The Foster Closet is an all volunteer tax-exempt non-profit organization providing aid to the Foster Care Community.

We provide new and like-new clothing for children in foster care in Branch County and the surrounding area. The items are provided at no charge and are donated by our generous supporters. We serve licensed homes and kinship care families, which are family members caring for relative children. Many times this is grandparents raising their grandchildren.

We support foster families by providing clothing and items, information, and encouragement. We build a child’s self-esteem by helping them feel good about their appearance. Children love the shopping experience and choosing their own clothing. There are no limits as to what the child can receive.
