To the dismay of cannabis growers, House lawmakers nixed a pilot program that would have allowed up to 15 cultivators to deliver cannabis directly to consumers.

A bill headed to Gov. Phil Scott’s desk would increase the daily amount of cannabis flower a person can purchase from 1 ounce to 2 ounces. It would also allow licensed retailers to sell cannabis at a limited number of public events.

She's been writing and performing her blend of original folk and pop as Melissa D since 2016, when the former front woman of the rock band AlleyKatz went solo.
